our escapade is planned
but a month is just too long

to stay aloof and push away my longing for that night

and so the weekend silence intervenes
reminding we don’t need to know each other’s little things
we’ll carve time for those if we ever grow
into something that this month long silence may make me forgo
it’s just that sometimes I feel out of time…
